Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Wrenshelf website and any purchase you make through it. By browsing the site or placing an order, you agree to them. Please read them before you buy.

1. Who we are

Wrenshelf is an online bookshop trading at wrenshelf.store. Where these terms say “we”, “us” or “our”, they mean Wrenshelf. Where they say “you”, they mean the person using the site.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to place an order. By ordering you confirm that the payment method you use is your own or that you are authorised to use it.

3. Products and descriptions

We describe every product as accurately as we can. Photographs are illustrative: printing, colour and finish can vary slightly between print runs, and screen colours differ between devices. Where a description states a specific feature, we stand behind it — if what arrives does not match, the Return and Refund Policy applies.

4. Prices and payment

  • All prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and include no hidden charges.
  • Shipping cost, where applicable, is shown before you confirm payment.
  • We may change prices at any time, but a change never affects an order already placed.
  • Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify's secure payment processing. We never see or store your full card details.

5. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send the confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order — refunding you in full — if the item is unavailable, if there is an obvious pricing error, or if we suspect fraudulent use of a payment method.

6. Shipping, returns and refunds

Delivery is covered by our Shipping Policy, and returns and refunds by our Return and Refund Policy. Both form part of these terms.

7. Content on this site

Text, layout and site content are ours or used with permission, and may not be copied for commercial use without our written consent. Product titles, author names and publisher names are the property of their respective owners and are used to identify the goods we sell.

8. Nature of the books we sell

We sell general-interest books, including titles on personal development, money, faith and children's education. Their content is for general information and interest only. It is not professional financial, legal, medical, psychological or educational advice, and it should not be relied on as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who knows your situation. Any outcome depends on the individual reader.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the site to break any law, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, to introduce malicious code, or to scrape it in a way that interferes with its operation.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the moment you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
