About Wrenshelf
Wrenshelf is a small online bookshop. We sell a tight, hand-picked list rather than a warehouse catalogue — every title on this site is here because someone chose to put it here, not because an algorithm filled a shelf.
What we stock
Three groups, and not much else:
- Books for children — life skills, first science, first economics, encyclopedias and workbooks, mostly for ages 6 to 12.
- Christian reading — daily-reading Bibles, guided studies, devotionals, and theology written at a child's level.
- Personal development — communication, money habits, Stoicism, and language learning.
How we choose
We look for books that respect the reader. For a children's book that means explaining rather than talking down, and answering the question a child actually asked. For an adult title it means worked examples instead of slogans.
We would rather carry twenty books we can describe honestly than two thousand we cannot.
How we write our product pages
This part matters to us, so we will be blunt about it.
- We do not publish customer reviews or star ratings we have not received. When you see none on this site, it is because we do not have any yet — not because we are hiding them.
- We do not invent testimonials, review counts, or "join 30,000 happy families" numbers.
- We do not use fake countdown timers or manufactured scarcity.
- Where we do not know something — an exact page count, a binding, a print run — we say so and offer to check, rather than filling the gap with something that sounds right.
If you ever find a claim on this site we cannot back up, tell us and we will correct it.
Delivery and returns, in one line each
- Free shipping over $35. Processing 1–3 business days, then 7–15 business days within the United States.
- 30 days to return anything in resalable condition. If the fault is ours, we pay the postage.
